Employee Selection

The decision about hiring a new employee is one of the most important decisions in the process of managing a company that has long-term consequences for the entire company. It is quite common that in spite of well-considered hiring, after a finished probation period, an employee proves unsuitable for the workplace requirements. What is the reason for this?

One of the main reasons is the lack of objective information about the candidate for a quality judgement during the selection procedure. According to research by Michigan State University, the typical interwieving process, used at most companies is, at best, only 14% effective in predicting successfull hires. The costs of wrong decisions in employment are, depending on the work place, estimated as being between € 4.000 to an unbelievable € 35.000. Can you afford it?
 

To improve the possibility of choosing the right candidate in time, we have to find out as much information as possible that predicts the efficiency of the candidate in the workplace with more certainty. In other words, we have to check if the candidate with his or her behaviour, values, interests and capabilities matches the workplace.
